| Welcome to my (mainly) non-transport gallery. |
| This varied selection of images reflects a general interest in photography that waned some years ago but all my negatives and slides have been retained. |
| One wishes that others would take seemingly redundant collections as seriously but, sadly, that is often not the case. My personal interest is in archive negatives and colour slides depicting road (pre-1955) and rail (pre-1964) transport subjects. So, if you have such material that is no longer of interest to you or you've been the beneficiary of a will please don't send it to the council tip - as the house clearers do - but first consider contacting me via the 'Leave a message' box or the 'Comments' buttons. |

Brienzesee from close to Brienz 1990. |
The paddle steamer Lötschberg was built in 1914 and has spent her entire working life on Lake Brienz in Switzerland. She was converted from steam to diesel power in 1968 and has since been further erfurbished in 200. This view was taken as she departed from Brienz on her usual route to Interlaken on a brilliant summer's day in 1990. |

The outsiders' idea of a Swiss lake is that of calm blue waters but the reality is that those waters are invariably a milky green as shown here in this 1990 view of Lake Brienz looking from the Interlaken end. The village across the lake to the right of the shot is Bönigen. |
